When For Black Girls discusses “Black girls and Black women,” we include any cis, trans, gender-expansive, non-binary, and/or any girl or femme-identified person who identifies as Black, Indigenous, Latine, Asian, Arab, Pacific Islander, and/or other womxn of Color.

We aim to create a future where every Black girl and woman stands tall, unbound by limitations, and equipped to chart her own path to success.
Since our inception in 2018, For Black Girls Inc. has been a pioneering nonprofit organization at the forefront of creating pathways to equity and opportunity for Black women and girls of all backgrounds. Through innovative programming, bold advocacy campaigns, and robust community engagement, we equip Black women and girls with the confidence, resilience, and access to resources they need to thrive. Our comprehensive support system, tailored to individual aspirations and ambitions, fosters a vibrant, inclusive community that uplifts and empowers Black girls and women of color to lead with confidence and pride. HOW IT WORKS
We believe in empowering all females of color, with a special focus on Black women and girls. Our programs, volunteer opportunities, mentorship, and membership options are designed to provide support, education, and community. Here’s how you can get involved.
Do you need to be a member to participate in our programs, volunteer, or attend our events? NOPE! Membership is not required to access our programs, but it comes with perks like tax-deductible fees, free or discounted program/event pricing, networking opportunities, exclusive programs, access to special interest groups, grant listings, finance resources, business promotions, and more!

1. Sign Up: Complete the application form associated with the program you’re interested in.
2. Follow-Up: A team member will reach out to you within 3-5 business days to confirm your application status.
3. Fees: If the program requires a fee, payment will be due upon acceptance. Financial assistance is available for those experiencing hardship—simply select the financial hardship option on the form.
4. Membership: You do not need to be a member to participate, but membership offers exclusive benefits that enhance your experience.

Give them the opportunity to immerse themselves in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through weekly mentoring sessions, exciting field trips, hands-on projects, and all necessary supplies provided. As a mentor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide Black girls aged 14-17 in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Your role will involve leading engaging mentoring sessions, facilitating hands-on projects, accompanying participants on field trips, and providing support and encouragement to help them explore their potential and succeed.
